Mentoring
The IPPD also offers Mentoring sessions (approx. six session of 1h each). Currently, this is limited to Poster or Presentation Award Winners of our partnering organizations like CRS, DPhG etc. and might be opened up in near future to anyone who is pursuing a career in pharmaceutical industry.
Those sessions are tailored to the individual questions and needs of the mentee and could cover topics like
- How to apply for a job in pharmaceutical industry?
- What if i don't meet all the requirements in the job description?
- What would be the appropriate entry level with my specific skill set?
- Will i have leadership responsibility?
- What career options are there?
- Full time, reduced or part time work?
- What about work / life and family (especially when raising kids)?
- Goal setting and performance assessments
- How to adress performance/behavioral issues?
- What tough situations may i encounter and how to master them?
- and many more...
